Welcome to EmCity online shipping, this is an in-depth explanation of how we service your orders. If after reading this you have any questions please don’t hesitate to email our ordering & shipping department at: EmCitycustomerservice@gmail.com
When you enter our online store on the left side of the screen you’ll see the different categories that make up our product line. Just click on the one you want to see more of and you will enter the next level. There you may find further categories, just click into those listings until you find the desired product.
On all product pages you will find pictures, product information and prices. To order something simply click on the button that says “Add to Basket” to add that item to your order. If other attributes (colors, sizes) are required to get the right product, you will have to select that information as well.
Please do order as many products as you like. In between you can always check in your “basket” (see top row on screen) to see how many items you’ve placed in your basket and what the current total cost is of your order. You can also remove articles from your basket on this screen.
When you are finished choosing items, go to the checkout to finalize your order and provide payment and shipping information. Then choose your shipping method. For domestic (US) and international orders there will be a shipping amount listed for you. Please know that our shipping modules are linked with and updated through the shippers given as your options. The pricing is based on their charges and may reflect additional fees such as a fuel surcharge, a residential delivery surcharge, or even taxes. Such additions are not arbitrary and would be completely necessary for the delivery. The system will also apply a handling charge of $2.50 or 1% of the total, whichever is greater. However, for international orders there will be a $10 handling charge.
Special overnight services may be available for an additional service fee. Please contact us for details and to make any necessary arrangements.
Once you are finished with your selections and inputting your information you will see your payment option. We use PayPal’s secure credit card transaction service. Please see our “credit card procedure & statement of anonymity” below.
After you have finalized everything and put your order through you will get an e-mail with all of the details as your confirmation. All amounts are based on the U.S. Dollar. EmCity reserves the right to cancel any order and give a complete refund of any money charged.
We will ship anywhere in the world that our products are legal.
Most orders can be shipped out within 2 to 4 days, and may in some cases, take up to 7 business days. If an order cannot be shipped out within that period, we will notify you by phone or e-mail with an expected time of availability giving you the chance to cancel or change your order, wait for it, or to have it shipped in two parts if possible.
EmCity REQUIRES A CUSTOMER SIGNATURE ON ALL DELIVERIES. SIGNATURE FEES MAY APPLY.
DISCREET SHIPPING POLICY
We use boxes supplied by the US Post Office or plain clean boxes. Labels will have a return address from “EmCity”.
CREDIT CARD PROCEDURE & STATEMENT OF ANONYMITY
Important Notice: Your credit card statement will reflect your charge as “EmCity.” EmCity ships most orders via USPS priority mail 2-3 days or UPS ground or air. There is no guarantee that you order will ship immediately due to back ordered or out of stock items.
When ordering by phone or email your card will not be charged until the time of shipment when your order has been 100% completed. Special exceptions to that are if one of our staff members specifically contacts you for a prior authorization and/or to arrange with you concerning anything that has changed about your order or the period in which it will be serviced. Additionally if you would like your card to be charged immediately, you may specify that when placing the order.
Otherwise if you place your order online it will be automatically processed through PayPal Credit Card Services. In case you didn’t know, you do NOT need to be a member of PayPal or even logged in to PayPal to use your credit card on our website. This system protects both you and us. We never see your credit card information and PayPal makes sure that your card is not being fraudulently utilized.
GUARANTEE OF GOODS / FAULTS AND EXCHANGES
EmCity guarantees the quality of all its products. Everything is checked before we send it out to assure that you are receiving not only the correct item(s) but the best we have to offer you our customer. Should the goods arrive with a fault in materials or craftsmanship, please notify us and return it to us immediately, unused, for exchange or refund within 15 days.
By Federal Law, no item that would constitute a health risk can be returned. These include toys and anything that is inserted into the body or can come in contact with bodily fluids.
EmCity, may at their discretion charge a 15% restocking fee for a canceled order, returned item or exchanged item.
Any and all free shipping offers apply only to domestic shipments within the continental United States. Free shipping will not apply to orders over 50 lbs.
CUSTOMS / LAW RESTRICTIONS
We are a U.S. company trading in goods that are legal in the United States. What is legal or not varies from one country to another. Whether importing / receiving something is legal in your own country can depend on your laws and customs, and on postal regulations.EmCity cannot be aware of the situation in your country, and is therefore not able to accept responsibility for items which are opened, lost, detained, or seized by postal or customs authorities. You as the customer should adhere to the laws and regulations from your own country. The customer is responsible for any legal problems concerning customs in their country. Under no circumstance is EmCity responsible for sales and delivery of forbidden goods to the customers’ Country.
1. Minimum Order Value
Minimum order value is $250.00. Some individual products/Brands will require minimum orders specific to that item(s).
2. How to place an order

The MSRP policy applies to all EmCity products. Our minimum advertised price for EmCity products is 85% of the Suggested Retail Price (MSRP), which is a 15% discount off of MSRP. Re sellers may offer products on promotion at a lower advertised discount only with written permission from EmCity. At times, we will promote items for a percentage off or a reduced shipping rate to our retail customers. These offers do NOT apply to wholesale orders. Coupon Codes for these offers cannot be used by a wholesale customer. Violation of any wholesale policy can result in account termination
4. Wholesale Pricing
Please note that our products are offered at wholesale cost to retailers with a valid sales permit ID for the purpose of resale only. Generally, our wholesale products are priced 50% below our MSRP. Due to the immense savings, we have certain criteria that must be met in order to open a wholesale account:
You must complete a wholesale account application, providing your EIN, and Sales & Use Tax ID.
Your store must meet the standards of the EmCity brand and not dilute the image we promise to uphold for our wholesale family.
Accounts will be reviewed annually. We reserve the right to cancel an account if EmCity’s goods are not being well maintained, stocked properly, displayed well, kept in good working order, or if the account changes ownership.
Returns must be made in writing directly to EmCitycustomerservice@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery date, quoting invoice number, and reasons. No returns are acceptable without EmCity prior approval and delivery instructions for transport. Shipping will be charged. For any goods returned as ‘unsuitable’ there is a restocking charge of 15% plus shipping chargeable to the customer Please email us with details of the product prior to returning it.
A 50% deposit is required on the date of order. Deposit must be made before any production or shipping can take place. Please specify if you would like items to be sent as they are ready or held until the order is able to be shipped in full. Once the 50% has been reached, you will be invoiced for the balance prior to each following shipment. All orders must be paid in full for the product to be shipped, prior to shipping. EmCity accepts credit cards (MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express) and EFT payments. All credit card payments currently do not incur a merchant fee. If paying via EFT, please email us through remittance advice as proof of payment. Checks returned due to insufficient funds could be considered fraud and subject the check writer to prosecution and fines. However, we understand that usually there is no criminal intent and in these circumstances, we will only charge the customer a reimbursement for bank fees and other incurred costs.
7. Net 30 Terms
Orders must be paid for in full in U.S. currency prior to shipment. At this time, we do not offer payment terms (Net 30, 60, 90, etc)
Fulfillment can take up to 3 weeks depending upon stock levels, and therefore all wholesale clients are asked to plan accordingly. If all products in your order are in stock and ready, you should receive your order within 2 weeks unless expedited shipping is selected. Back-ordered items can take up to 5 weeks to build. Please specify if you would like items to be sent as they are ready or held until the order is able to be shipped in full. Additional shipping fees may apply. We strive to get orders out as fast as we can but many of our products are still handmade “in house” by our artisans. Please contact us for specific lead times. All orders ship via UPS or USPS. Please contact us if you would like to request special shipping terms, times, or if you have a UPS account number you would like us to use. We only ship to the shipping address provided & cannot ship to multiple addresses. If you would like your order shipped to various addresses, please place one order for each shipping address
9. Shipping International Orders
We do not ship international orders at this time. We have experienced too many customs and shipping complications to make this worthwhile for the customer.
10. Shipping insurance
Shipping insurance is required at the value of the goods being shipped.
